On 6 September 2025, Afd. 3 set free 2501 pigeons from Lorris at 09.00 for a distance of 464.868 kilometers. Conditions were steady, and the deciding factor became sheer loft quality. At 14.33.45 Team GPS Elshout stopped the clock, securing 1st place with a velocity of 1392.865 meters per minute. They didn’t just win — they dominated. The first four arrivals in the result sheet all bore the GPS signature, locking down positions 1 through 4. That is not luck, that is mastery.

Chiel de Wit Unstoppable from Quievrain — A One-Two Knock-Out

On Saturday, August 30, 2025, all eyes were on Quievrain. At exactly 12.00 PM, the liberation took place. A total of 1294 Racing Pigeons were released for a distance of 264.957 km to Zuid-Scharwoude. It became a fast and thrilling competition, with the winning pigeon clocking an impressive 1772.687 meters per minute.What makes this race unforgettable is not just the speed, but the way it was decided. Jan Eskes Streefkerk Shines Again – Class, Continuity and Absolute Quality

Section 5 liberated on Saturday, August 30th, 2025 at 08:45 from Saint Soupplets. With a total of 11,064 pigeons entered, this was a competition of serious weight. The distance to Streefkerk was 345.866 km. The winning pigeon clocked at 12:01:19 with a speed of 1761.776 m/min. The race broke open immediately with very high velocities – a flight for true specialists.

Argenton Viane – Hannes Van Droogenbroeck Confirms His Class with Five Early Racing Pigeons

On 30 August 2025, 235 young pigeons were entered in Viane for the demanding race from Argenton. At 09:00 the baskets opened, releasing the birds on a 508 km journey towards Flemish Brabant. Conditions were challenging, but it was Hannes Van Droogenbroeck of Liedekerke who stole the show. His BE4022221/2025 arrived at 14:08 with a winning speed of 1649.194 m/min.What stood out most: the loft from Liedekerke not only took 1st place, but also secured 4th, 5th, 6th and 8th in the top ten. A masterclass in quality and depth.

Geert Jan Meuwese – From Olympic Yoni to a New Triumph in Lewedorp

In Zeeland ’96, no fewer than 2337 racing pigeons were entered for Morlincourt Noyon. Liberation took place at 10:49 AM, with a strong south-west wind pushing the race towards a high-speed contest. Covering 220.668 km to Lewedorp, Geert Jan Meuwese clocked his winning pigeon at 12:53:20, achieving a blistering 1774.808 meters per minute.

Marche, Afdeling 10 NPO • Rinke Kouwen Makes History

On Saturday, August 30, 2025, a total of 4,927 pigeons from 291 fanciers were liberated from Marche (F35) at 10:30 AM. Conditions were perfect for speed: a strong south-west wind pushed the pigeons towards the Netherlands. Distances ranged between 269 and 340 kilometers, resulting in a lightning-fast race. The top pigeons clocked well above 1,700 meters per minute.
