The 13th edition of OLR Talent Quatro has officially kicked off. We have already welcomed the first young athletes this March 2026. In the heart of the Czech Republic, we are preparing for a season that will break all records. While bird flu unfortunately made a physical visit to the spring fair in Houten impossible, the passion at the lofts in Å ternberk remains as high as ever. After a frosty winter, we are now enjoying a series of beautiful, sunny, and warm days. This creates the perfect climate for training your future champions.
The Absolute Top of Europe
This is a battlefield where only the elite prevail. Dutch breeders are demonstrably among the best in Europe. We are fully committed to bringing their participation numbers back to the historic levels seen before the pandemic. The sky high quality was proven last year when Hans and Evert Jan Eijerkamp took a phenomenal third place in the grueling 510 km final with their pigeon Hans 405. There is also a wonderful example of international cooperation as the Czech winner of last year, Bohdan, was purchased by Rieks Lonsain from Nieuwleusen. The offspring of this champion will compete this year, highlighting the international prestige of this competition.

Unparalleled Professionalism and Tradition
Behind this prestigious event stands a family business with a depth of knowledge that is rare in the sport. Stanislav Matuska has been an active breeder since 1969. He brings a wealth of experience and numerous successes to the table. His daughter Bohdana has been a driving force in the daily operations and guidance for the past five years. The technological backbone of the race is managed by his son. He is a top notch IT professional who personally developed all computer programs and the website. This unique combination of decades of experience and hyper modern technology is fully dedicated to providing your young pigeons with the best care and the fairest competition.
A Prize Pool to Dream Of
The stakes for 2026 are higher than ever. We offer prizes worthy of the European top. The overall winner of this season will take home a grand prize of 20,000 euros. Additionally, a national winner is selected for each of the six races. These winners are rewarded with one free young pigeon entry for the 2027 season. You can enter this elite competition for a fee of 120 euros per pigeon. Thanks to the fair system of five paid pigeons plus one free pigeon, you can bring a full team of six pigeons to the start for 600 euros.
Seize Your Last Chance
Although more than 100 percent of the capacity is currently registered, only teams that immediately fulfill their entry fee are guaranteed a spot. Currently, approximately 14 percent of the spots remain available for those who act quickly. Anyone who submits an application now and pays immediately is guaranteed a place in this Pigeon Boss Approved edition.
