The Final Derby Moldova 2025 is complete and it was nothing short of spectacular. On September 16th at 07:30 AM, 482 pigeons were released from Bulgaria for the ultimate test: a grueling 502 km back to Moldova. With clear skies and perfect weather, the stage was set for a true clash of titans.
And one name stood head and shoulders above the rest: Mihalachi Marin.
At 15:07:48, his MD-25-1974 arrived with an astonishing average speed of 1096.5483 m/min – securing victory with more than an eleven-minute lead over the runner-up. Marin’s loft proved its depth as well, with his second pigeon also placing in the top 10. A performance nothing less than grandiose.
