We aren’t just playing for bragging rights. For the 2026 edition, the organization has put up a massive €70,000 gross prize fund (based on 1,000 activated pigeons).
The breakdown is impressive:
The Final Race (400 km): The winner takes home a staggering €10,000. What I find most impressive? The prize money extends all the way to 60th place. This gives every fancier a genuine shot at a serious return on investment.
The Ace Birds: For the true marathon spirits, the Ace Overall title rewards the winner with €1,700.
