The international one loft racing circuit is constantly evolving, but few events capture the attention of serious fanciers quite like the 2026 edition of the MyLoft One Loft Race in Romania. The season has officially moved from the planning phase into active operations. As of mid March, the first groups of young pigeons have already arrived at the facility in Nazna, Mures. The atmosphere at the loft is one of focused preparation as the management team begins the critical process of settling these young athletes into their new environment.
The intake window remains open from March 10 until May 20, 2026. However, potential competitors should take note that the loft is already starting to fill up as more entries are scheduled for arrival in the coming weeks. With a total hosting capacity strictly limited to approximately 1,350 pigeons, the organization prioritizes a high standard of individual care and hygiene over sheer volume. This controlled environment is one of the primary reasons why the Pigeon Boss maintains a strong stance on the professionalism of this particular race.
A Strategic Test in the Heart of Transylvania
The location of the MyLoft OLR in Nazna, Mures, provides a unique geographic advantage for testing the orientation and stamina of modern racing pigeons. While many Eastern European races choose southern routes, MyLoft has established a flight direction toward Poland. This decision is a strategic choice designed to challenge the birds across diverse landscapes and varying weather patterns. This route ensures that only the most capable and mentally resilient pigeons reach the final 400 km destination.
Transparency is the foundation of the MyLoft philosophy. By utilizing the Benzing Live system, every trainer and owner can follow their birds in real time. This level of technological integration ensures that every clocking event is verified and instantly accessible to the public, eliminating the uncertainties that often plague less professional organizations.
The 2026 Prize Structure and Incentives
The financial incentives for this season are among the most competitive in the region, with a total gross prize fund of 70,000 Euro based on 1,000 activated pigeons. The organization has structured these rewards to recognize both peak performance in the final and consistent excellence throughout the season.
The prize distribution for the 400 km final race is particularly deep, ensuring that a significant number of participants see a return on their investment:
The winner of the final race will claim a 10,000 Euro prize.
Second and third places are rewarded with 5,000 Euro and 3,500 Euro respectively.
Payouts continue down to 60th place, providing broad opportunities for recognition.
Beyond the final, the Ace Overall category rewards the most consistent performers with a top prize of 1,700 Euro. There are also significant rewards for the semi final at 300 km and smaller cash prizes for each of the three initial hotspots starting at 120 km. All prizes are subject to local taxation laws.
Participation and Registration Details
For those looking to secure their place in what is being called one of the fairest competitions in the sport, the entry requirements are straightforward.
