The Super Star Winter Race – Sunshine, Superstars & Spanish Style in Alicante

Last week I had the pleasure of visiting The Winter Race in beautiful Alicante, Spain – and let me tell you, what I saw was pure excellence. This is not just another One Loft Race; this is a place where passion, precision, and pigeon power come together under the Spanish sun.

I was warmly welcomed by Adrián and Víktor, two gentlemen who live and breathe pigeon sport. After an amazing lunch (yes, Spanish style – delicious and full of life!), we toured the lofts, and I was genuinely impressed. The setup, the care, the location, and the pigeons themselves – everything was top-notch.

The lofts are designed to perfection: well-ventilated, ideally situated, and built with a clear understanding of what top racing pigeons need. The birds? Simply stunning. Perfect feathers, bright eyes, strong vitality – it’s obvious they’re in expert hands.

But what really makes The Winter Race special is the timing. While most of Europe is dealing with cold, wind, and rain, the pigeons here enjoy sunshine and a mild Mediterranean climate. From October to March, conditions are perfect for care, training, and developing real champions.

You can feel the positive energy everywhere. The atmosphere is relaxed, professional, and full of ambition. This is a race organized by people who truly love pigeons and understand what the sport needs.

In short: The Winter Race in Alicante isn’t just a race – it’s an experience. A perfect blend of sport, sunshine, and Spanish hospitality.

If you’re looking for the ultimate winter destination for your pigeons, this is it. Once you’ve seen this place, you’ll understand why the Pigeon Boss calls it a must-see for every serious fancier.
