The Passion Behind the Wings: Lannoo Maxim & Georg

Behind every great pigeon is a team that lives and breathes the sport. Lannoo Maxim & Georg, the proud owners and trainers of Lotte, are no exception. This Belgian family loft from West Flanders is built on three generations of pigeon racing passion.

Their journey began in childhood, sparked by a beloved pigeon named “Plop” from a children's film. That spark has now become a burning flame—one that powers a loft producing results at the highest level.

Their breeding program features world-class bloodlines thanks to collaborations with iconic names like Xavier & Raoul Verstraete, Julien & Dirk Dhanyns, Geert Vanrenterghem & Annick Goeteyn, Christiaan Lievens, Rudy Den Haese, and more recently Gino Clicque, Schoors-De Waele, Antoine De Graeve, and the Dejaeger family.

With such a foundation, it’s no surprise Lotte has risen to the top.

A Symbol for the Sport

What makes Lotte truly special isn’t just her wins—it’s what she represents. In a time of change and evolution in pigeon racing, she is a beacon of what’s still possible: a symbol of heritage, heart, and hard-earned success. For the new generation of fanciers, she’s proof that greatness can still be bred, trained, and achieved with passion.

Her father also boasts impressive genetics—finishing 40th National from Issoudun against 12,349 pigeons—cementing her strength from both sides of the pedigree.

A Name to Remember

As we look toward the future of the sport, it’s clear that BE22-4149604 "Lotte" is not just another pigeon—she’s a story in motion, flying her way into the history books.

Whether you're a seasoned fancier or new to the thrill of the race, pigeons like Lotte show us what’s possible when love for the sport meets elite breeding and top-tier dedication.

Let’s keep the sport alive, exciting, and growing—one champion at a time.

Yours In Racing Pigeon Passion,
