Two More Successful Shipments Arrived. The intake for the 2027 Victoria Falls World Challenge Pigeon Race continues to gather momentum, with another two international shipments arriving successfully in Zimbabwe.
This time, pigeons from Belgium and Turkey have completed their journey and are now safely in Victoria Falls Loft.
For everyone involved, this is another positive step toward what promises to be an exciting new season.
Belgian Pigeons Arrive Safely in Victoria Falls Loft
A warm welcome goes to all the pigeons that travelled from Belgium to Zimbabwe.
A shipment like this requires careful organisation, communication and, most importantly, proper attention to the pigeons throughout the journey.
A big thank you goes to Group ATP and Khadir Khouadir for arranging the shipment and making sure the Belgian pigeons reached their destination successfully.
International transport is an important part of modern One Loft Racing. Breeders put a lot of trust in the people responsible for getting their young pigeons safely from their home country to the race loft.
Seeing another shipment arrive in good condition is therefore exactly the kind of news we like to share.

Another Successful Arrival From Türkiye
The Belgian shipment was not the only one to arrive.
A second group of pigeons has also successfully made the journey from Türkiye to Victoria Falls Loft.
These pigeons arrived looking excellent, which is a credit to the preparation and care surrounding the shipment.
A special thank you goes to Cagla and Yakup Metin for the care and attention given to the Turkish birds.
When pigeons are travelling such a considerable distance, good preparation matters. The objective is simple. Get the pigeons to Victoria Falls Loft safely, calmly and in the best possible condition so they can settle into their new surroundings.
That is exactly what we want to see.

The International Character of Victoria Falls
These latest arrivals once again show what makes the Victoria Falls World Challenge Pigeon Race so interesting.
Pigeons from different countries, different lofts and different bloodlines all eventually meet in the same racing environment in Zimbabwe.
Belgium has one of the deepest traditions in the international pigeon sport, while Turkey has developed a passionate and increasingly international racing pigeon community.
Bringing pigeons from both countries together in the same One Loft Race creates exactly the kind of international competition that makes our sport exciting.
Once the pigeons enter the Victoria Falls system, nationality and reputation become secondary.
The pigeons have to perform.
That is the beauty of One Loft Racing.

Victoria Falls World Challenge Pigeon Race is one of the races I am happy to describe as Pigeon Boss Approved.
For me, that label has to mean something.
A serious international One Loft Race should provide strong competition, professional organisation, clear communication and a racing programme that gives pigeons the opportunity to demonstrate their quality.
Victoria Falls has also developed something that is extremely valuable for our sport: international reach.
Breeders from many different countries can compete against each other in one location, under the same management and the same racing conditions.
That makes the results interesting not only for the participants, but for pigeon fanciers around the world.
It also helps promote racing pigeons to a broader international audience.
And that is something I will always support.
Our sport becomes stronger when good races bring enthusiastic pigeon people together.
The Journey Has Only Just Started
Getting the pigeons safely into Zimbabwe is the first important step.
Now comes the next phase.
The newly arrived pigeons can settle into the loft, become familiar with their surroundings and gradually become part of the Victoria Falls racing team for the season ahead.
For the breeders behind them, the excitement starts building from here.
Every pigeon arrives with a story.
Every breeder arrives with expectations.
And eventually, the road will lead toward the races that determine which pigeons can handle the challenge.
Belgium and Turkey are now officially part of that journey.
