A Dream Pedigree: Günter Prange Meets Gaby Vandenabeele
Take one look at the pedigree of this powerhouse and you will immediately see why my pulse quickens. This bird represents a direct cross of two monumental dynasties in modern pigeon racing history, strains that have dictated world-class dominance for decades.
On the sire’s side, we find the iconic bloodlines of master breeder Günter Prange. The sire is DV02098-22-230, a direct son of none other than the legendary 520 (DV02098-08-520), a phenomenon credited with no fewer than 7x 1st prizes! The dam of this sire is NL20-1080970, a daughter of Hendrikus through Peiter Noel.
On the dam’s side, the pedigree connects straight to the royalty of Gaby Vandenabeele. The dam, BE14-3150585 “Blauwe Rudette”, is an exclusive direct daughter of the worldwide icon Rudy (BE06-3008003, son of Bliksem). Rudy is celebrated globally as the sire of immortal titans such as New Bliksem (1st National Tulle against 5,731 yearlings) and Super Romeo (1st Nat. Ace Pigeon Long Distance Yearlings KBDB 2013). Her dam is BE10-3047071 “Geschelpte Neptunus”, another 100% direct Vandenabeele jewel.
In simple terms: NL23-9595780 is both a grandson of the 520 and a grandson of Rudy. That means double aristocratic breeding stock, an eye radiating extraordinary intensity, and an undeniable aura of leadership.
