WaterControl: For clean water and healthy pigeons

WaterControl is an innovative biocidal product based on hypochlorous acid (HOCl), specially developed for drinking trough hygiene in racing pigeon lofts. HOCl is part of the natural immune defence system and has a broad spectrum of activity against bacteria, fungi and enveloped viruses. At the same time, it breaks down biofilm and inhibits its formation – a key source of germ reservoirs in pipes and drinkers.

The application is simple:

• Maintenance hygiene: 0.5-1 ml/L daily in drinking water.
• Intensive hygienisation: 3-5 ml/L once in case of increased germ pressure, e.g. after flights.
• Drinking trough/line hygiene: 10-20 ml/L for pre-cleaning vessels and pipes.

WaterControl is material-compatible, odourless and leaves no residue as it breaks down into water and salt after the reaction. This makes it ideal for long-term use in all phases such as rearing young pigeons, travelling and breeding, moulting and resting.

Application and dosage:

• Maintenance hygiene: 0.5 to 1 ml per 1 litre of drinking water for regular use
• Intensive hygienisation: 3-5 ml per 1 litre of drinking water for single use.

When used in drinking water, no other preparations may be administered in the same drinking trough.

• Drinking trough hygiene: 10-20 ml WaterControl per litre of water for pre-cleaning drinking troughs, pipes and containers

 

Safety instructions: Use biocidal products with care. Always read the label and product information before use. Keep out of the reach of children. Avoid contact with eyes. In case of eye contact, rinse with plenty of water. Consult a doctor if symptoms occur. Dispose of empty containers with household waste or return them. Storage: Store cool and protected from light at room temperature. Use within 3 months after opening.
