The official results of the FCI World Best Pigeon 2025 have been finalized.

For every dedicated pigeon fancier, this represents the moment of the year where passion, craftsmanship, and the natural power of the racing pigeon converge on the global stage. This ranking is the absolute recognition for the most consistent athletes in our sport.

The Rules of the World Elite: How to Become the ‘Best Pigeon’?

Reaching the top of the FCI World Best Pigeon competition is an achievement of global proportions. The rules are strict to ensure sportsmanship:

  • The Coefficient: The winner is determined by the lowest coefficient (position x 1000 / number of pigeons), calculated to three decimal places.

  • Strict Requirements: For the ‘Speed’ category, a pigeon must achieve 5 prizes in races between 100-400 km, covering a total of at least 750 km. For ‘Marathon’, 2 races over 700 km are required.

  • Global Participation: Only pigeons with an official FCI ring, competing in races with at least 20 fanciers and 150 pigeons, are eligible.
