Five races completed. One final still to come. And after 410 kilometres from Szigetvár, the battle for Talent Quatro 2026 is getting serious.
Team Weis from Germany has struck at exactly the right moment. Wicca 811 won the prestigious Katowice Memorial at 1,422.161 metres per minute and now also leads the provisional Ace Pigeon ranking.
That is championship level performance when it matters most.
Katowice Memorial: Racing With a Meaning
There is something bigger behind this race than prizes and rankings.
The Katowice Memorial remembers the 65 pigeon fanciers who lost their lives in Katowice in January 2006, when an exhibition hall collapsed. Friends of our sport were lost that day, and Talent Quatro continues to honour their memory through racing.
One detail deserves to be clear. The Katowice Memorial is not liberated from Katowice. The 2026 race was flown from Szigetvár in Hungary over 410 kilometres. Katowice gives the race its name and its meaning.
That combination of competition, respect and tradition is what makes pigeon racing special.
Team Weis Strikes, Senohrábek Shows Pure Team Power
The Katowice Memorial was started by József Maul, and the front of the race was absolute quality.
The first five were:

- Team Young Flyers Senohrábek A, Czech Republic, SP 529, 1,421.854 m/min
- Möller Andreas C, Germany, Shooting Star 824, 1,421.743 m/min
- Team Young Flyers Senohrábek C, Czech Republic, SP 509, 1,421.653 m/min
- Parobek Team, Czech Republic, Ondra, 1,421.559 m/min
But look deeper and one team immediately jumps off the page.
Team Young Flyers Senohrábek placed five pigeons inside the first group of thirteen, taking 2nd, 4th, 6th, 7th and 10th.
No guessing. No excuses. Just results.
According to the Talent Quatro standings on 11 September, Team Young Flyers Senohrábek C also leads the provisional Super Team competition with 15 prizes and a coefficient of 14.530.

With the final still ahead, these are the provisional championship leaders on 11 September 2026:
- Super Ace: Wiesnet Markus with Amahle, 2 prizes, coefficient 24.935
- Ace Pigeon: Team Weis with Wicca 811, 2 prizes, coefficient 3.172
- Time Ace: Siebert Dieter and Chen Yue with Talent 6209, 9 prizes, total time 22:14:53.21
- Super Team: Team Young Flyers Senohrábek C, 15 prizes, coefficient 14.530
- National Cup: Germany, coefficient 4.872
These standings are still provisional. The final is compulsory in several major classifications, so nothing is decided yet.
That is exactly how a great One Loft Race should finish.
Sármellék Was Another Strong Race
One week earlier, Talent Quatro raced from Sármellék in Hungary over 334 kilometres.
From 1,072 pigeons entered, 999 were recorded back, a return rate of 93.2 percent.
Victory went to Trepte Arndt and Marcus A from Germany with Hans 4, clocking 1,443.682 metres per minute.
Wiesnet Markus finished second with Ayana, followed by Joekel Skylights with Bellatrix 6179.
Two Hungarian race points. Two very different tests. And another important step towards the final.
Talent Quatro Is Becoming a Serious International Stage
Talent Quatro is based in Šternberk in the Czech Republic and is racing its thirteenth edition in 2026.
The numbers show the international strength of this One Loft Race. 1,925 young pigeons were delivered by 260 team entries representing 17 countries.
The programme builds progressively from short training flights through races in Slovakia, Austria and Hungary before the approximately 510 kilometre final from Vrpolje in Croatia.
This is not simply about sending pigeons further every week. It is a complete campaign designed to test consistency, recovery, speed and quality.
The final is announced for 15 September 2026 on the Talent Quatro homepage, while the race calendar lists 16 September as an approximate date. The latest confirmation from the organisation will therefore be decisive.
Credit Where Credit Is Due
A race like this does not happen by itself.
Stanislav Matuška, Bohdana Grúzová and the complete Talent Quatro organisation deserve recognition for building an international platform around competition, transparency and the promotion of pigeon racing.
Results, electronic registration, race information, championships, photographs and even GPS route analysis on selected races give followers the opportunity to experience the season far beyond Šternberk.
And initiatives such as the Katowice Memorial prove that the organisation also understands something equally important.
Our sport has a history. It has people. It has memories worth protecting.
Now the final is coming.
Wicca 811 leads the Ace battle. Wiesnet Markus holds the advantage in Super Ace. Team Young Flyers Senohrábek controls the Super Team ranking. Germany leads the National Cup.
But after approximately 510 kilometres from Croatia, the entire picture can change.
That is pigeon racing. That is pressure. And that is exactly why we will be watching Talent Quatro.
