On Saturday, July 25, 2026, the young bird classic from Chimay, Belgium, was on the menu for Section 3 Racing Area 1. At exactly 09:30 AM, the baskets opened and 1,542 pigeons from 58 participants charged into the clear skies.
The conditions along the racing line looked pleasant at first glance with cloudless skies, temperatures hitting 20 degrees Celsius, and a light south-westerly wind. But make no mistake. Weather like this demands a razor-sharp compass, pure speed, and an unyielding will to win. Over a distance of more than 196 kilometers, the young athletes of Team van Oss Pigeons completely turned the entire region upside down!

A Historic Series: 54 Prizes in Racing Area 1!
What Team van Oss Pigeons put on the landing board borders on the unbelievable. Sending 101 birds into battle, the Bossche formation managed to capture no less than 54 fantastic prizes on the official results of Racing Area 1! That means over half of their total racing team flew deep into the prizes at the regional level.
The first two birds dropped onto the plank just four seconds apart, hitting top speeds of over 1,505 meters per minute to secure 1st and 2nd place straight away. The entire series was a masterclass in pure dominance.
