The young pigeons were released from Pont Saint Maxence at 08.30. The race attracted 458 fanciers and 6,016 pigeons.
Conditions included a moderate westerly wind, force 4, a temperature of 19 degrees and light cloud cover. The distance to the lofts of Hans and Evert Jan Eijerkamp was 401.874 kilometres.
Under these conditions, NL,26-8475320 was the fastest pigeon in the entire race. The winner was clocked at 12.52.56 and recorded a velocity of 1,528.429 metres per minute. That is almost 91.7 kilometres per hour.
It was enough to secure 1st prize against 6,016 pigeons.
One remarkable detail is that the winner was entered as their 56th nominated pigeon. That says a great deal about the overall quality of this team. When the 56th nominated pigeon can win an entire provincial race, the strength is not limited to a handful of favourites.

Eight Pigeons Among the First 27
After the winner arrived, the Eijerkamp train continued at full speed. Their second pigeon was clocked at 12.57.05 and claimed 12th prize. More arrivals quickly followed.

That means 15% of the complete Eijerkamp entry reached the absolute top of the result.

In 2025, Vasili Slovenian Dream won the final of the Avirings Derby Pro. The decisive race covered 509 kilometres.

5. Belgian Dream Wins National Argenton in 2026
Another major chapter was added to the record in 2026. According to the Eijerkamp company page, Belgian Dream won National Argenton against almost 38,000 pigeons.
Winning such a massive national race is an achievement of the highest order. It underlines that Eijerkamp is not only internationally recognised, but continues to perform on the biggest stage of traditional pigeon racing.
