The final race from the Croatian town of Vrpolje is over, the winners have been honored, and the final results are in. But what if your top pigeon just missed the boat or still has something left in the tank?
Then there is great news! Stanislav Matuska and the Talent Quatro team are sharpening their focus one last time for an absolute thriller: an Extra Final from Oravita (Romania) over no less than 614 kilometers!
Following bad experiences in Serbia in 2025, where pigeons were not allowed to enter the country, the organization found a fantastic new flight line. Romania is ready to put our aerial athletes to the ultimate test. This will be a serious examination, but also a unique opportunity to boost the value and reputation of your pigeons before they head under the auction hammer.
As always at Talent Quatro, everything is handled smoothly and fairly. Here are the details you need to know to take part.
Conditions & How to Activate
The organization has selected the 50 best pigeons from the final and the overall rankings (see the list below). These top performers will stay at home and will not take part. That means the field is wide open for all the other talent!
Entry fee: €50 per pigeon.
Who can activate: Fanciers may only activate their own pigeons.
Which pigeons: In addition to pigeons that returned from the final, you can also activate pigeons that arrived later from earlier races. On the website, go to the Vrpolje Final results and click at the bottom on ‘Display / hidden the arrival details’. There you will find the tables ‘Not arrived pigeons’ and ‘Arrival beyond the race’.
Deadline: Wednesday 23 September 2026 at 22:00 CEST.
How Registration Works
Register your pigeons by email: Send your team name and the names/ring numbers of the pigeons you wish to activate to talent-quatro@centrum.cz.
Transfer the amount: Transfer the entry fee stating your team name in the payment reference.
Send proof of payment: Email a copy of the bank transfer to the organization, after which your pigeons will be registered.

Prize Pot & Terms
Around 350 pigeons are currently available for activation. The Extra Final will take place provided there is a minimum of 150 registered pigeons.
Of the total entry fees, 20% covers operational costs. The remaining 80% will be distributed among the TOP 10 in the race results:
1st place: 35%
2nd place: 20%
3rd place: 10%
4th to 10th place: 5% per pigeon
